Sure-Grip® EX cabinets are designed to meet OSHA and NFPA standards, constructed of sturdy 18-gauge double-wall, welded steel with 1-1/2-in of insulating air space for fire resistance. The high-performance, self-latching doors ensure maximum protection under fire conditions, with a fail-safe closing mechanism and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system. For added security, the U-Loc™ handle can be padlocked and comes with a cylinder lock and key set.

Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels on the cabinets are highly visible in emergencies, along with patented SpillSlope® galvanized steel shelves that direct spills to a leakproof bottom sump. The shelves are adjustable for versatile storage and feature dual vents with flame arresters, four self-leveling feet, and a grounding connector. The cabinets also include trilingual warning labels and a durable lead-free epoxy/polyester powder-coat finish for excellent chemical resistance.

Manual-close doors open to a full 180 degrees and self-latch when pushed closed, while self-close doors shut and latch automatically when a fusible link melts at 165°F under fire conditions. The unique concealed self-closing mechanism provides obstruction-free access to the contents. All door styles meet OSHA and NFPA 30 standards, with self-close door styles also meeting NFPA 1 and the International Fire Code. Most cabinets are FM approved and come with a ten-year warranty.
