To protect workers, reduce fire risks, and improve productivity, flammable fuels and chemicals should be stored in safety fireproof cabinets that comply with relevant codes. Sure-Grip® EX cabinets are designed to meet OSHA and NFPA standards, made of sturdy 18-gauge double-wall welded steel with 1-1/2-inches of insulating air space for fire resistance. The high-performance, self-latching doors ensure maximum protection under fire conditions, with a fail-safe closing mechanism and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system. For added security, the U-Loc™ handle includes a cylinder lock and key set or can accept a padlock. Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels are highly visible under fire conditions or power outages, with patented SpillSlope® galvanized steel shelves directing spills to a leakproof bottom sump.

These shelves are adjustable for versatile storage, while the cabinets also feature dual vents with flame arresters, four adjustable self-leveling feet, a grounding connector, and trilingual warning labels. The durable lead-free epoxy/polyester powder-coat finish provides excellent chemical resistance. Doors on the cabinets can be manual-close, opening to a full 180 degrees and self-latching when pushed closed. Alternatively, they can be self-close, shutting and latching automatically when a fusible link melts at 165°F under fire conditions. The unique concealed self-closing mechanism allows obstruction-free access to contents. All door styles meet OSHA and NFPA 30 standards, with self-close door styles meeting additional NFPA 1 and International Fire Code requirements. Most cabinets are FM approved and come with a ten-year warranty.
